Popfrenzy presents Babypop – a unique, swinging musical experience of sixties French cool, ye-ye sounds, euro freakbeat, with a dash of Mondo Italia.
Babypop is the sound of Europe in the sixties. Babypop is music for moderns. Babypop will features the tunes and cool bangs of Brigitte Bardot, Serge Gainsbourg, France Gall, Jacques Dutronc, Francoise Hardy, Johnny Hallyday, Michel Polnareff and many, many more.
Babypop is the first club of its kind in Sydney and follows in the footsteps of successful French sixties music clubs in San Francisco and London. The first Babypop was held in November and was hailed as an amazing night, and the 2nd in January packed the house.
DJ Ringfinger, DJ Kurac and DJ SCSI will man the wheels of style.
Doors open 9pm and the beats don’t stop until 3am. Babypop will be held at the Transit Lounge, located within the Metro Theatre, 624 George Street, Sydney. It is $4 to get in before 10pm and $7 after.
